Does anybody understands how the new bill will affect eu citizens who want to become british?

It is difficult to say, because on the one hand the government says it does not affect them at all, but from the law it seems that the time to citizenship is bound to get longer. So far it was 6 years, and with the new law it will be 8 years (unless you jump through the hoops called "activity condition"). In specific circumstances it may even be much longer.

I guess the only thing we can be sure off is that you can apply for citizenship after 10 years, because that is guaranteed by European treaties. And PR after 5 years is not affected.
