Guys anyone from feb whos applied for extension Non-JR and got their passport back, please share your timelines .....

HO seems to have accelerated the processing process as they will be recieving a lot less applications from April 1st due to new rules ......

Why don't you call up the bank and find out if there was any attempt made to debit the application fee by Home Office. It might be outstanding.

I would advice you to trace with the bank before contacting HO.

i called my bank.... they havent received anything.. they say that the cheque has not been "applied" to my account after which it can take upto 5 working days to clear. they also told my that there has definately been no cheque rejection!

Took exactly 6 weeks for me

P.S: There was no enquiry with my current or previous employer. I actually called my current HR and previous company HR (whose contact is given) to update them that they are going to get my enquiry anytime now and they confirmed there was no enquiry till date (yesterday)! Strange!

Make sure all paperwork is in perfect order. It speeds up processing.All the best.

+ 2 dependents

Applied on 11 Feb 2009
Application received by HO on 12 Feb 2009
Fee debited on 17 Feb 2009
Acknowledgement received on 19 Feb 2009
Tier 1 Approved on 26 Mar 2009
Documents received on 31 Mar 2009 (I had sent my special delivery next day envelop)
Aproved till 26 March 2012

I was a silent reader most of the time.Thanks everyone for the updates given .Use to read and get myself some hope and assurance.
Thanks once again all.This forum was gr8 help.

I never called HO and was planning to call this thursday to check the status but by God grace didn't have to do so.
So have patience if ur docmentation etc is perfect no need to worry.its only the time one has to wait.which ofcourse is painful.

Agree with most of u if all paperwork is in perfect order. It speeds up processing.

All the best still waiting. My prayers to God for all of u.

I am very Very Happy today and finally relieved

Payment taken - 18/Feb
Reference No - 20/Feb
Urgent Treatment fax Sent - 24/March (Reason - Letter from employer for business travel)
Urgent treatment letter sent to postal address - 27/March
Date of Approval - 27/March
Documents received - 31/March

Ref received: 27-02-2009

According to HO website, HO gona chk application they received b4 or on 24-02-2009

But 01-April-2009 lady from HO rang my Job place and confirmed my personal details + job roll + duration ..............
call last only 2-3min..............

any idea lady who rang was CASEWORKER or any other staff from HO ?

But i was expecting all of this next week some time.....according to HO website.....

Any body know how long it takes after verification ?
