Dependant funds

I have been accepted to do a post grad degree at a Scottish university. I need to bring my wife along as a dependant and am unsure of the maintenance of funds. My understanding of fees needed is:

Need:
School fees Year 1 - all funds needed (GBP 8200)
Proof of maintenance: 5400 GBP for the year, for me
Proof of funds for dependant: ???

Could someone possibly confirm my understanding, as well as indicate how much I need to bring along for my dependant?

if in london boroughs: 533pounds/month for each dependant...if outside london 400 pounds
