thank you so much for your advise!! ya, we are both over 21 and we can prove that my fiance can financially support me etc.Casa wrote:You need to apply on form VAF4a. Are you both over 21?
You'll have to prove that the relationship is genuine, that you can financially support yourselves in the UK without claiming Public Funds,
and that you have adequate accomodation.
Marrying in Hong Kong is probably the most straightforward option.
thanks for your reply again!!! why do we have to use an Immigration Advisor who is OISC registered? have you heard about the French & Co. Solicitors? is it good? we just don't know whether we should go for the legal help or not!Casa wrote:If you feel that your application is straightforward then you shouldn't need professional help. Have a look at the forms to see what documents you have to submit for the application. If you do decide to seek legal advice, make sure you use an Immigration Advisor who is OISC registered.

my fiance is from uk, has a full british passport. we have been together for 4 years now and want to get married this year. we have tried so many solicitors which they give us different advises and we don't know whether they are correct or not. it's been a nightmare!!!
so far we gather all the advises that we should get married in hong kong and get a spouse visa afterward, would it be the best choice for us? will they refuse my application? we don't have a clue what to do at the moment and hope we can get some advised from you all to help us out!! thanks
