How to sponsor someone for student visa?

I like to sponsor someone from asian country. I am in UK with HSMP visa.

What are the requirements?

How much fund do I need to sponsor?

This will be out of date soon.

If you are sponsoring them, then I suppose course fees and living costs could easily be £10K minimum each year. If you are providing accomodation then maybe this would be a bit less.

The applicant would also have to show that the sponsorship is credible. Also that you have that amount of spare cash.

So basically I need abour $5400 in my bank account (at least ) to sponsor one person?

na rount about 8000 per year to be more precise
