Start date and end date for the previous earnings

Post by confused-guy » Fri Apr 03, 2009 3:34 am

hi,
i m bit confused about wha to fill in the form, where it says start date and end date in the tier 1 form; page 50?

i got paid 4 weekly, and i want to claim my earnings period from april 2008 - march 2009.

do i have to fill pay dates in the start and end dates section or i have to fill the date of the 1st day for which i get paid for?? I mean if for example i get paid on 28-04-08 then this periodic cycle actually starts from 1-04-08.

I work that period from 1-04-08 to 27-04-08 then get paid on 28-04-08 .
So which date shall i use 28-04-08 (actual date on the payslip & wages credited in the a/c) or 1-04-08 (this is the starting date of the period for which i get paid for on 28-04-08)

thanks

If I was you, I would do as following:
1) Start date of previous earning consideration period:
Start date (Beginning) of first period of payment (e.g.1-04-08 in your above example)

2) End date of previous earning consideration period:
End date of last period of payment OR Date the last payment is received for the past payment period.

However, bear in mind in doing so you are not exceeding 12 calendar months.
