Ref received: 25-02-2009
RoyalMail site saying they have received my item.... so should be available tomorrow....

I am so tensed.......

Nobody else other than case worker will be interested in calling your employer for verification .

I am wondering how they took up ur case so fast ...when 100s are in Q .
Are u sure soembody called from HO or ur employer is dreaming

It will be interesting to see, what the timeline UKBA puts up on Friday 3/4/2009; for application processing on week beginning 6/4/2009.
Seems they are moving very fast to clear all the backlog that got created after long Christmas shut-down.

Lady just checked my full name+job roll in company+duration

Is today a public holiday (3rd April)? They normally update the waiting time in the evening of Friday. Why did they updated it earlier? Does it mean they are not processing any applications today?

Good news........ hip hip hurray!!!

I received my visa dated till 09/03/2012.

Applied on - 19-FEB-2009
Fees deducted - 21- FEB-2009
Acknowledgement received - 25-FEB-2009
Visa processed - 01-04-2009
Documents received - 02-04-2009

Thanks a lot for all the people on this forum...... it has been a great help...
Hope to hear more good news for people who have applied and yet to receive.....

Waiting is the only solution when you apply for your extension...

Hi Aspirant09...

As Kiru mentioned.. Waiting is the only solution...

i would say.. If you think you have provided all the evidences that are asked by HO and you are confident then there is nothing to worry just stay calm... hold ur nerves as waiting is solution but very difficult to do ...

HO can not reject when we produce the perfect application as they asked.. they can only DELAY so waiting is the only solution

keep fingers crossed and we will pray for u all too

Great news. I received my passport on 27 Mar 09, got married in SA on 29 mar. I sent multiple urgent treatments to everywhere possiible but they told me they didn't consider my application as urgent. Beauracrats till the very end. I'm on honeymoon at moment and will give full details when I get back. I applied on 7 Feb 09. This forum was very helpful. Thanks to all for your help.

Timelines:
Send Application from UK on 9th March
10th March HO Recd.
12th March Payment deducted.
13th Got acknowledgement.

Today i recd an email from case worker to send my depedants latest photos, the one i sent was 6 months old.
They even told me in email if i want quickly send them a special delivery along with photos.

Sent and Waiting for passport stamped with Visa.
Fingers Crossed.

PS: I sent an urgent treatment last week 30th March .(I got an offer).

Folks,

My Application date is Jan 23, 2009. WP to Tier 1. I called them up today and they say still under process.

Why so much delay in my case when othe rpeople are getting it in less then 4 weeks itself.

Are they checking out my credentials? My employer had received a call from them 3 weeks back. Its a torture for me...I tell you

Are there other peopple from January 2009 waiting too?

Aspirant09.. Usually i will not be worried if the status is awaiting further consideration (AFC) and move to awaiting consideration(AC) for next 2-3days.. usually when we call exactly after 6weeks (for you 6weeks is from tomorrow) so pls wait n chk the status in the next 2days to move into AC..

Awaiting FURTHER Consideration or Under FURTHER Consideration always indicates that there are checking/ waiting for some info which they are checking or verifying like contacting employer or checking your WP status histroy (justexample).. FURTHER is added when they are checking/waiting to hear on the check...

So do not worry too much now... you shd only worry by next week around tuesday/wednsday if it is not in Under consideratioin again if your case is straight forward..

Is your case straight forward or do you have any Bankstatement vs Pay slip conspirancies or something HO needs to check? becos Jan 23 and WP to Tier1, you shd have heard from them with result by 20th march or 27th March...

Guys anybody who applied during same time as Manu.. pls post to help each other watzz going on ur cases...

Again.. if you think ur case is straight forward and there is nothing to worry than Waiting is the only solution as we can not do anything with the HO works..

Hi, Manu / Ramesh

I had been a quite silent reader of this forum & yes a waiting candidate
since 15th Jan-09...rediculous!!

I called them up nearly 4 times & same response as "Waiting to be processed",,,,to tell you more, my case is quite straight forward and no complications at all, my company has also not received any call yet,,,so in that case, yours is processing a step ahead.

Even I have no idea what to do in this kind of situation,,,if admins or Ramesh can throw some lights.
