Getting application Ref.No

Post by rao166 » Thu Jul 28, 2005 7:03 am

I have applied to HSMP and my application was recvd on 22nd July as told by my courier and my credit card was charged on the same day as told by my bank. but still they didnt communicate my application ref no.

I filled the 2nd page of the HSMP form to get the ack. from HSMP team and mentioned my home address as well as email.
I have also emailed them(hsmp.workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk) on tuesday 26th July but havnt got any response.

Plz tell me the procedure of HSmp team that how they send application ref. no , thru letter to your home address or thru email and in how much time. and further advise me shud i call them to inquire my application ref no.?

Thank You
Rao

Given that you are in Pakistan with an applicable time difference in question i.e. you are ahead of the UK time and thus the potential your e-mail sent 26 July 2005 was likely to have been reviewed at the earliest on 27 July 2005, and that further the HSMP Team deal with several thousand applications each month would you genuinely expect to get a response by today 28 July 2005? Whilst appreciating your keeness, patience might be of some use here. If you have not received your ref number 7 days after your e-mail then come back to the forum with this query.

Well thats exactly what i want to know, i mailed early in the morning at 26th (b4 8:30 at doncaster). I am generally in a perception by reading the posts in this forum taht they are quick in replying thru email. Thats what i am asking from the ppl that have applied HSMp app and recvd ref. no that how did they get the ref.no. and after how much time. If its normal that they send ref.no after 8-10 days, i ll wait but if the usual practice is after 2 3 days, i ll most probably call them. Hope u ll get my point

Thanks
Rao.
