From my company I was deputed at London for 1 months. I am having experience in Informatica, Unix, Oracle. Could you please tell me the list of consultants who are handling the DWH client.

Kandasamy
kandasamy wrote:Hi,
This is my 2 trip to UK. Last time I came here through WP and worked at client location for 20 months and back to India. Again I deputed now to new client for 1 to 3 month. So I am having more than 22 months UK experience.
If u have any list of consultant please share with me.
Regards
KAndasamy
There may be shortage of jobs but there is also a shortage of good candidates. We as an employer are really struggling to find suitable candidates for our busy accounting firm. Only yesterday I had to fire my two staff (unfortunately both were on HSMP visas from India).kandasamy wrote:Hi,
What you say is right, but I was deputed from my Indian company here, so ever get a chance to know about the HR consultants. Now also I was deputed from Indian company. If u have any list of HR consultant please let me know.
For each opening we need to modify our cover letter.

As an employer I would not mind employing some one who has right ideas and attitude though he may lack some experience (UK) but with right skills.
Cover letter is very much important as it gives the impression that it was not just mass mailer. Basically you are trying to sale your services here and you want to be as much convincing as possible.

I can not even begin to explain how rubbish they were. Though we always try to understand the need of an employee and provide appropriate training but they still need to apply their mind. What concerned me was their attitude. Coming late in office, chatting very loudly on mobile even if we have clients in premises etc etc. no appetite to learn new things like new accounting software. If the matter was only of skill or knowledge or experience, we could make it work. But it was a matter of attitude which we can not change. After giving three warnings in writing in 3 months, we asked them to submit their resignation.rsathish wrote:A/c, Can you tell us why you fired those two members? Were they lacking skills?
