New court rule affecting workpermit holders

Hi I came to this country on 5 years workpermit in July 2005 and still working under same employer. How this new court rule (regarding HSMP judgement) would affect me. Am I eligible to apply for PR after 4 years.
I am really confused. Could you please help me in this regard.

whats to be confused about ? nothing anywhere has said this applies to Work Permits. You said it your self: 'HSMP judgement'

how many times do people have to spam the forum with the same question ?

HSMP forum made a group and fought for hsmp guys only . It is not generic .....

So wp holders also need to make a forum and see if they can fight like the HSMP forum guys ...........

Hi Tenali,

This rulling doesn't apply to WP holders as WP doesn't gaurantee/promise settlement. HSMP and WP are like apple and oranges.Ruling awarded in favour of HSMP cannot be applied(or used as precedence) for WP holders.
