weird marriage case in the U.S. :)

Post by italianlady » Mon Apr 06, 2009 11:42 am

Good evening! Could you please help me?
I am an italian woman who has planned to marry her japanese fiancèe who at the moment lives in the U.S. with a H-1 working VISA. I don't care permanent citizenship and other stuff, the only thing i care about is for us to live together! Since he is not citizen, I can't apply for a K-1 VISA, so how can i LEGALLY marry him and stay in the U.S. with him as long as he stays there? (which should be a couple of years due to his job)
thank you for any suggestion!

You can apply for H-4 dependent visa.
