HSMP Approved. Whats next??

Hi,
I received my HSMP approval after 3 months(on Apr 17th). I lodged my Appln. from Singapore but now I am staying in Malaysia(working in Kuala Lumpur). I am planning to go for EC in June 1st week.
I have few queries in thia regard. I would be greatful for your advices.
- Can I go for EC in Malaysia or I have to go back to my country of origin(i.e. India)
- How long the Immegration officers may take for EC processing?

Hi Sagar,

I believe u've got ur reply already. If not, you can apply for EC in your current country of residence but not the country where you are residing as visitor/tourist or some other temporary purpose. If you are working currntly in KL and have temporary resience permit you can apply from Malaysia. Hope it will be helpful. The best is to ask the Embassy where you are currently now.
