Hi
I have bachelors degree & I score 110 points.
I applied for Tier 1 before the Masters criteria came in.
Now my application has been returned as INVALID because I have not ticked NO to receiving public funds.
My question is I don’t have Master will I still be able to reapply the application based on the old reference number from HO ?
How many days do I have to return the application?
Can I go for that one day service now ?
From the letter
" If you still wish to make an application for leave to remain you must compelete a new application and send this to the address specified on the form"
Thanks

I dont thik you should file a new application as this will be covered under new masters rule.
Though it was purely your mistake, the best option for you is to seek advice from solicitor. Did you get any right to appeal?

No .. There is nothing about appeal. The Application is not rejected, but mentioned invalid.

If you are applying for Extension then you will judged based on old rules.
If new tier1 then you have to apply under new rules.
Application invalid = No case
Sorry

Did you receive all the documents and passport back along with the INVALID application??
If the documents and PP are still with HO than i see a bleak chance that you can sendin your new application with cover letter mentioning the reason you are applying again and mention the Reference letter No in the cover letter so this will save you from the NEW Masters RULE... but need to check if u need to pay the fees again..
But need to give a BIG thought as you mentioned u r leaving next week for your marriage..
you really need goodluck wishes.. All the best mate...

I think I have missed the chance.
Oh well , you win some, you loose some, but life will go on.
Now doing Masters is going on my TO DO LIST.

Are you applying to switch from WP To Tier 1 or HSMP to Tier 1 ? looks like you applied for extending your stay , if it was HSMP to tier 1 then you will be judged under old rules with new application.

Tipu

Guys, it is clear invalid or in-complete application will be returned, so where is the chance? when he doesn't have a case!
Suppose if he sends out application with explaination letter about his mistake, then what if they deduct the fee and reject his application based on new rules?
Sorry, but I can't see any chance at all (imho)
Rest good luck..
Kaff

Thank you for your valuable suggestions. I am more than happy to send an email and fax. I will fax but I don’t know how they will get back to me so I want to send email also.
I humbly request to provide email address for Tier1.
