HSMP, Ancestry or Right of Abode?

Post by unixguru » Thu May 06, 2004 6:11 pm

I have a question about UK Immigration. First a little background. I was born in the US in 1971 to a British mother and US father. My mother still has her UK citizenship, also my granparents and 2 aunts and 4 uncles are UK nationals still living in the UK.

My question is do I qualify under the ancsetry or right of abode or do I need to pursue the HSMP route?

I qualify easily under the HSMP but would prefer to used ancestry or right of abode. Not really sure what to do.

Thanks In Advance for any help

Shaun
