Hai i am new to this forum...
i have applied for Tier 1 (General) on 30th March from chennai.
My status is documents fwded to BHC.

Is there anyone who has applied on 30 th March

Yes i had applied on 30th march from Mumbai and it is still in forwarded status... I believe it might take time as too much of holidays were there this week

I applied on 20th March and status still forwarded to BHC

Timelines:
Applied for HSMP dependent visa: 09/03
Applied from Cochin VFS.
Passport received with visa stamped: 11/04

The visa was stamped on 12/03, but passport and docs reached us only on 11/04.

Congratulations on receiving the Visa.

This appears very strange.
It went fine till stamping in terms of timelines but was held for so many days to despatch it. Why did they kep it pending for almost one month?

Hi yes it was hold for long time i dont see any reason for that. after stamping its usually sent immediately.

What was your status showing in VFS application status link all this time until you got your docs and passport??

If someone is monitoring immigationsboard forum all this while, have we taken a estimate that on an average how long is it taking for people who have applied in the month of march 2009.

The visa is valid from 12/03 - So obviously it was stamped in 2 days.

HI currently i think application upto 20th march are being handled after which i guess next week post 20th march application will be taken care of. I have applied on 27th and i think may be next mid week or end of the week there should be changes on status.

Thank you for all your inputs...
I got my visa today

I applied on 20th March thru VFS bangalore.
Application status got changed on March 15th
Received the package today with visa duly stamped
I think it took some time because of public holidays..

I did not get any... Not sure if they gave a call to HR of my company or something... but i did not get any verification call.

Applied on: 26th March 09
Applied from: VFS Bangalore
App Status: Docs fwd'ed to BHC

I am a little worried thinking of the long processing times...
could someone pls provide me the contact no's where I can enquire

Hi Sam,

Congratulations on getting Tier-1. I have few questions regarding Tier-1 and wondering if you can pls answer them.

1) What document you produced as Earning proof? Do we need to provide Salary Slips of last 12 months with Company Stamp or a letter from HR that this person is/was working in our company from date to date and his total earning during this period was INR xxxxx which is eqv to GBP xxxxx.

2) For maintenance fund, I am maintaining Rs. 2 L in my account and my wife has 50k in her account (Joint account actually). I hope that 2.5 L as maintained fund during last 3 months should be fine?

3) Did u also provide Form 16 or IT Return? We are suppose to file our IT return for the year 2008-2009 in July-Oct, I believe I'll apply in June itself.

Application Submitted - 13 March 2009
Location - VFS Mumbai (South)
Application Status 17 March 2009 - Your visa application has been forwarded to the British High Commission
Application Staus on 3 March 2009 - Your passport is ready for collection
Application Collected on 8th march - Granted for 3 years (From 5 June 2009 to 5th June 2012)

Hi All,

Yesterday evening my application status changed from 'Your visa application has been forwarded to the British High Commission' to 'Your passport is ready for collection: please visit the uk visa application center where you submitted your visa application'.

However it not mentioned on the online status whether my visa is accepted or rejected. Just want to know any one has such experiences and what would be the actual result - acepted or rejected.
