6 months Late arrival ... 3 years extension possible?

Hi ,

I have few questions that I think anyone can answer them based on their experience.

- My HSMP visa stamped on 18th October 2004
- Entered UK 18th March (five months late after the visa stamped due to personal reasons)
- Have to apply for 3 years extension in Septemeber 2005

So my questions are :

Q1: Will be able to get this extension, I have a good permanent IT job from April 2005 though?
Q2: When I will apply for 3 years extension Sep 2005, will it have any problems as I came 5 months late?
Q3: I came here late due to personal affairs, did they ask about them or do they ask? Will it be easy or difficult to get this extension in my case?

No. You will get your FLR (IED) stamped without any problems.

1. How can you be so certain about it, looking at their guidelines document it is said that when the visa is stamped, the HSMP holder will have to come to UK within 3 months.

Yodiyokum,
getting IT jobs in UK totally depends upon luck but you should be good in speaking English, qualified in your domain, good solid experience of the IT field, registered with famous jobsites (like monster, itjobs, totaljobs etc...) and LUCK !!! But it is for sure that everyone gets job, never be despair!
