Visa appliction for child born in uk

Hi
I m holding UK wp and, my child born in march 09 and I just got his Indian passport last week,
I want to apply for his UK dependent visa
I have downloaded new form FLR(O) and in i have doubt in section 3 and section 4

section 3 .. What should i write for other purposes/reason?
Section 4 ... Home and finances (what should I put)
And which documents should I attach with this application??

Posting a slightly different question here from my friend:
His details

1. Wife European national in UK
2. Him, no EU national currently on ILR status in UK

They are expecting a child soon, would that child be eligilble for British nationality right from the birth?

Any reference of rules from UKBA website will be highly appreciated.

Ring HO and they will tell u, which form will be suitable for your child.......

Usually They tell u FLR(o) or PBS Tier 1 Dependant Form......... if u have WP they might advice u FLR(O).........if they hv not got any form of WP-Dependant...........

U do not need to fill all form....there are some sections which does not apply on baby who born in UK.......... So u can explain in COVERING letter......

If born in UK and a parent has ILR, then child will be British.
