ILR for Work Permit Holder

Post by post4habib » Wed Apr 29, 2009 4:48 pm

Hi, i intered in UK on student visa and then later on i got work permit on August 2005. when i applied for work permit the time period to apply for ILR was 4 years which was later increased to 5 years. now my question is that can i apply for ILR on a 4 years term policy or i will have to wait another year to complete 5 years as per present ILR term.
Many Thanks

You might apply for ILR after 4 years if you entered country before April 2006.

Thanks Mate

YES I entered UK in December 2004 as a student Nurse and got my work permit in August 2005 so thats mean i will be illigible to apply ILR this year if the 4 years rule accepted again.
