FLR (ID)- sent a week ago, no acknowledgement

Post by sagarjv » Fri Aug 05, 2005 10:54 pm

Hi All,

Its a week since I sent my FLR(ID) application with all my original documents(i.e. 30-Jul-05 saturday) through Royalmail special delivery. GBP 335 were deducted from my card on 02-Aug-05, the Tuesday. Till today I have not received any acknowledgement. I am little confused whether Homeofice sends any acknowledgement?
Kindly advice me in this regard.

Regards,
Sagar

Sagar,

I too have sent my FLR to HO, which reached them on Thu, 4th Aug. They charged my credit card on thursday itself.

I guess in many cases, HO does not send an acknowledgement, especially where the case for renewal is straightforward, i.e. applicant has a job.

Guess the only thing to do is wait patiently. I am sure the passports will be back with the visa stamps soon.

NewHsmp,
I rcvd acknowledgement y'day (06-Aug i.e. sat'day) from Home Office and the letter was dated (01-Aug). It took 5 days to reach me. I have no idea whether the delay is by Royal Mail or by Home Office in dispatching the letter.
Regards,
Sagar
