PGDBA From SCDL (Symbiosis Distance Learning)-Is acceptable?

Guys,

This is an excellent forum and I am newbie to it. Gone through all the queries under UK Neric and haven't found what i seeked so herewithin my post.

I have done PGDBA (Marketing) from Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning (SCDL) and B-Tech in Printing Technology from Guru Jambheswar university (GJU), Hisar. I have gone through point based calculator and found that my B-Tech course from GJU is recognised but found no information about my PGDBA Course.

So I have two questions-
First : I have read somewhere that after 31st March 2009, all the people who now apply must have Post Graduate degree to qualify! Is this TRUE?
Second: Does anybody have any information that PGDBA from SCDL is recognised by UK Neric?

After 31/03/2009, you should have MASTERS degree for Tier 1(General).Post Graduate Diploma as offered by Symbiasis or IIMs.

Second: Does anybody have any information that PGDBA from SCDL is recognised by UK Neric?

I don't think it is recognised as Masters Degree by NARIC, but it is better to check with NARIC directly and include NARIC letter of comparison in application(if it is comparable).
