HSMP Spouse VISA

Hi All,

It is time I seek all your help again.Its been quite some time i came back to thsi site...last I did was when my HSMP got rejected.
But alls well that ends well.

But now I am worried about my partner whom i am marrying in India on Jun 20th 2009.I plan to apply for VISA the very next day but since my HSMP current leave expires in 31dec 2009 I was wondering whether there is a rule which says I have to have a min 6 month or greater validity visa when i apply for her visa?

In my case it is really close....6 mnths and a few days....could please anyone confirm if there is such rule at all?
