Dependant Visa Stamped - April 14 Application

Hi,

Just wanted to update that i am still in india and received the 3 dependant
visa for wife and kids.

Application Date : April 14, 2009
Stamped Date : April 17, 2009
VFS Site status : Changed on April 30, 2009
Received Courier : May 02, 2009

Note: To all who apply for dependant from India, I had not provided any accomodation proof. My main applicant visa was approved on jan 05, 2009.

Can you share with me, how much Maintenece fund did you show for u r dependents, is it 1600+1600+1600( for 3 of u r depenedents) or 2800+1600+1600+1600( including your 2800)..
Also, let me know , list of docs which you sent across..

Me too got my tier1 in feb 09. now my dependents are applying for visa.

2) Dependant Applcation - 3 Nos
3) Marriage Photos
4) Children Birth Certificates
5) My Visa Copy
6) Letter from my end declaring responsibility to dependants and no recourse to public funds ( I suppose it was necessary, as i was applicant still in India)
7) Passports of dependants
One photo each dependant
9) Marriage certificate
10) Bank Statement - 3 months ( Original 1 Copy)
11) Bank Letter confirming funds


Note : I mentioned that dependants would be accompanying me in july,
but the visa was stamped for dependants from April 17.

Also i did not show any accomodation proff, but stated in application as addtl info : Date of travel is indicative but actual date will be based on availibility of flight tickets and accomodation booking.

Hope the info helps, as when i applied i did not get a suitable reply when i posted on board.

Maybe this is answered somewhere, but still I am posting it because I couldn't find the exact match yet.

I have 2 kids and wife as dependents.

1. Currently I wanted to apply for myself only. I am willing to take my dependents with me after one year, for this What maintenance fund should I show.
2. In form VAF9 the question [5.1 Is your partner accompanying you or joining you later? If they are travelling later please provide their date of travel in Part 7.] Definitely I will choose YES for this. but how can I mention that I will apply for my family after one year.
3. In form pbsappendix1 the question [7.1 Calculate the amount of funds required for you and the dependants named in the Personal Details part of this application form and enter the amount here.] what amount should I enter here as I don't want my family to join me within 12 months of my arrival.

What have you shown when you applied for yourself only?
Help appreciated.
