hsmp =credit card charged.... need info.

Hi EVERYEONE,
Need a small piece of info. From the discussions in the group, what i understand is credit card will be charged for HSMP only when all the documents are clear and decision is made ??
is it so, or am i wrong. i sent the application with all necesary documents and my card is charged now. Yet awaiting for communication from them. and trying to reach the customer care personnel.
I have applied "from within UK"
any advice/info. will be useful for me.

The payment is taken immediately upon the receipt of the application.

When Homeoffice receives ur application, they charge the credit card and issue a reference number(which is mailed to the candidate).

Till then , application is not processed. Rather it is queued and will be processed when it is assigned to a case worker. Case worker after processing your application, issues a decision letter which is mailed alongwith original documents.


So relax, they just have recvd ur application and charged the credit card. According to them it takes 4 to 13 weeks for decision.
