Proof of UK earnings for previous earnings

Post by keepsmilinyaar » Sat May 09, 2009 8:26 am

I was working in the UK for 8 months, and was paid an allowance of 1800 pounds a month. Hence it did not show up on my Indian payslip. The only proof I have for the same is a bank statment showing that 1800 pounds was deposited by my employer.
And a work permit showing my UK Salary, ofcourse I was not paid all of it as my employer kept part of it.

When making my application I would like to show my UK earnings alongwith my Indian earnings also.
What are the documents, that are required for showing the UK earnings.
Can my work permit suffice ?

WORK permit cant be used as proof ..

You need payslips or letter from employer or p60

+
bank statements

(2 proofs from different sources)

P60 could be used as an additional documents to support payslips/employer letter. But it is of no use if you are claiming for the months which are starting from mid of the financial year.
