is below pointvalid for hsmp extension people?

An applicant may claim for a period of earnings of less than 12 months if they have earned sufficient funds to claim the necessary points.

thanks chetan for replying,

in mronign when i called call center people, they are saying 12 months and not knowing about guidence form, they simplay saying they just know basic rule of 12 months, but no this rule as they did not read the guidence form.

I just wonder why there is a discrepancy from their conversation

actually in my case,
i submitted evidence correctly for all 12 months of pay slips, 12 months bank statements,p60
but while mentioning date range for rpevious earning in applicaiton form,
i mentioned the 20 days less date mistakenly
instead of 5th april , i mentioned 20 th april as my starting periof of claim.

Just wondering even in this case, for 11 months i score more than required points in attribute section.

Please some one help me on this

Dont worry. You will be fine. If you have submitted your application you might want to send a note explaining the same and attach correctly filled page (only if you are spending sleepless nights). People who take your call at UKBA are not the case workers and are not as thorough with the guidance notes as caseworkers are.
