Applied on 27th March ,In country Appplication(No result Yet

Post by Manisharnie » Fri May 08, 2009 10:12 am

Hi All,

I have applied on 27th March,Got Acknowledgment on 3rd April, Fees deducted 4th April. But I have still not recied the result.

Guys,
Please share your exp/Time frame if u have applied during the same time period.I am assuming the delay can be because of rule change from 1st april and lot of applications sent before that.

Thanks
Manish

But in my case she said it is 'awaiting consideration',She said that means work has not even started on that application.

There appears to be a general waiting period of around 6-8 weeks at present, so hopefully you'll hear soon.

from what i've heard, case workers don't take more than 8-10 working days.. the process takes longer to get started.. so i'm sure you're on the same boat as me and will get your visa in a week or two inshAllah..

they ought to consider the fax but it won't hurt to send it in the post.. perhaps for the attention of your case worker.. his/her name will be on the confirmation letter you get from the home office.. i'm not too sure about this.. maybe a more experienced member could confirm this?

Smacky,
I meant I posted that with my application itself, but the letter is itself a fax which was sent by my company to me,so not sure whether they will consider as original or not.?

Hi

Advised by friend not to call them. Any thoughts

Manisharnie - Apologies for misunderstanding the question. I'm sure they'll consider the letter even if it's a fax. If they want, they will confirm the variance when they call your employer to verify the salary although I doubt they'll do that..

Tear 1 - I can't comprehend why your friend asked you not to call them. It doesn't affect your case in any way.. atleast call them up and confirm if it's being processed.. they will need your recorded delivery tracking number since you don't have a H/O reference number..
