I applied for WP to Tier 1 . My application was under consideration till the date I received the passport so no faith on what HO tells on phone.

Just gave them a call,They say its awaiting consideration.The guy yesterday told me that is awaiting further consideration.

I've been told that a package was despatched on 11/05/2009 and I've been given a tracking number. I'll let you all know the outcome tomorrow as no one was at home to receive the delivery. *nervous*

I've also been told that a package was despatched on 11/05/2009 and I've been given a tracking number. I didnt send a special delivery envelop along with the application. How long will it take to reach me thru this normal delivery. Can somebody help me on this please?

i checked on royal mail's website and it says it's been delivered.. the correspondence address i had on the application form was that of my solicitor.. the lawyer dealing with my case is on annual leave.. the receptionist said their policy is to call the same day they find out about the outcome.. i emailed my solicitor.. since she is on holiday, it was forwarded to the director of the firm who said i should get a response from them by friday or monday as they "process" incoming packages from the home office on a first in - first out basis. i don't see what needs to be "processed".. all they need to do is open the envelope and check the outcome.. maybe it's sitting in their po box or something.. i'm very worried now.. i'll call the firm again tomorrow..

congratulations rosy.. i talked to the law firm today and they have received a package for me.. but their policy is not to open it till the lawyer assigned to my case gets round to it..

Hi

I called HO and they advised they have sent the Acknowledgement letter at the correct address, but i did not receive it.They managed to track my application via Special delivery tracking.

My Status today 13/05/09 1s : Awaiting Further consideration.

Hope i will hear back soon from them.

I'm happy to announce that I just got a call from my lawyer saying my tier-1 G as been approved.
