what if ILR in-person at PEO not straightforward

Post by crazychris » Tue May 12, 2009 4:14 pm

we know that ILR application at PEO usually get result on same day. However what if the application is not straightforward? Will they continue to process it as high priority although not the same day? or will they simply forward it by post and let you wait for 6 months after charge money for premium service?

Unfortunately an application that isn't decided on the day will simply join the pile and await a decision and further checks. No priority over the others.
Bear in mind if the application is actually refused on the day (not sent for further consideration) then you lose your fee. :(

Do we need to wait for 6 months like postal applications or this follows a different queue within premium service applications.

You would need to wait with all the other postal applications...no priority as I've already said.
May be even longer wait if the application is not decided at the PEO as further enquiries are necessary. Are you concerned it won't be straightforward?

Better to post it, if it's not 'straightforward'! You'll be wasting both your money and your time, if you go to the PEO with an application that you already feel is not straightforward.
