Maybe not such a good idea to buy the air tickets in advance?hsmpguy1234 wrote:Hello Everybody,
I am currently on HSMP and came to the UK last year. I plan to apply for visit visa for my mother and sister next month.
I understand that I'll have provide a sponsorship letter with their application, to sponsor their travel and stay in the UK, along with supportign docs (bank statement/salary slip etc)
As per UKBA website, and this forum, for a visitor to get EC, he/she has to prove that he/she'll return to Pakistan after their visit. They may provide documents like Letter from Employer, or Letter from School metntioning of leave etc.
My mother is a house lady, and doesnt have any such situation. Same is true for my sis, she no more goes to study, completed a couple of years back, and doesnt work. So both of them cannot provide any such document to prove their intention to get back. They dont have any property in their name as yet. They do have some good savings (National Savings) in their names, and bank accounts with some cash, not much, in there.
I plan to buy return tickets for them in advance, to attach to their application, as a proof of strong travel plans. Will this do any help?
It might be note worthy that I finance my family's monthyl living expense, and they have access to my bank account in Pakistan. I send money on regular intervals. And they dont have any other source of income in Pakistan as such.
What other documents can I use to support their application? As, although genuine, but it doesnt seem to make a strong case.
I will really appreciate any help & I apologize if I am asking an already-asked question, as I searched through the forum and couldnt find anything related.
Regards,
Fake letters will be rewarded with a 10 year ban.hsmpguy1234 wrote:@Rozen & Khan
Its not about having a lot of money to throw, its about trying out any available options. As I do not have anything else to provide, going genuine. Otherwise, I may try to get fake letters stuff and I may succeed, but ... just dont feel like doing that.
And I thought posting here might be helpful ...
