Church Wedding in UK

Post by straw » Wed May 13, 2009 9:50 am

Hello there,

I hope I will be able to get some sort of advice from this forum. I am of African origin born in Germany but I work and live in UK now and I intend to get married to a girl I have known for some time now but the problem is that legally she is not supposed to be here.
I have made enquiries as what I can do to help and I was told our only chance is to go through the Church of England to get married, my question is whether this is a viable options? Or are there any other options out there?

If she goes back home there are no guarantees that she will get the Visa and I would rather avoid that sort of situation if I can.

Please any advice will do.

Thanks.
