ILR - When can I apply

I would be grateful if you could help please. If entered the UK on 9th November 2007 and Spouse Visa expires 29th October 2009, when can one apply for ILR

For 'spouse visa' I assume you are talking about visa as spouse to UK citizen or someone settled here. Then you can apply for settlement 2years less 28 days from the date you first entered. So in your case around the 12 October 2009

Hi Sparkle, you can apply 28 days before your spouse visa expire date. You can apply it in persion at one of PEOs so you will get your ILR on the same day.

You are right, that is what I meant. Thank you. So I take it is calculated as 1st date I entered not visa expiry date.
