Hi All,
I'am new to this forum, I've been working for an IT Company for a while, I've found out that my company is cheating with the Tax people. I'am getting paid the net amount after gross and taxes, he's mentioning in the pay slip that the tax is been paid, but actually my employer is not, I've checked with pay roll.. they said they will pay my tax yearly
My question:
Does the Home Office got the access to check with HM revenue about the taxes and all.....
If the HO find's out the my tax is not getting paid..... who's to blame for that, me or my employer.
will my application be refused if there is no tax paid.....
pl ..... answer my questions....

HO can request HMRC to share information if they feel that the company is a dodgy one... Tax deducted at source needs to be deposited immediately. Do you have an NI number?

The problem is, HO may contend that it is a bogus company. Recently they refuse to recognise degree from a university which was a fraud set-up. I guess some of the students were genuine and they were refused Tier-1 VISAs as they had studied at the said university. Dont want to be a scaremonger here but one needs to do what is right. if the applicant knows that his company is committing a tax-fraud, he needs to take some corrective action. Who knows they are depositing his NI /Group Pension contributions either?

Hi
normally companies pay PAYE on monthly basis but they dont send any employee informaiton to HMRC........... at the tax year end (april of every year) employer send P35 form to HMRC about the tax deducted details. so home office will just check with HMRC that this company is not fake some thing and about ur earnings and tax they will verify with your employer not HMRC...

if employer liabilty is less than £1500 a year than yearly payments other wise employer need to pay monthly
your concern are right as employee to see that all tax deducted are paid so u can get yr assessment done as well as right to work
sort out issue immediately with employer or from HMRC

The first thing is to find out if this (i.e. fraud) is really the case.

Ya thinks look above board. P35 is an Employer Annual Return form which summarise the pay and deductions the emloyer made over the tax year.
