HI every one,

I am a non eu citizen studying here in uk from last 3 years.I have met my french girl friend before 1 year and since than we are living together.Now we have decided to get married.but I don,t know what is the procedure,what I we have to do for this.And after marriage we want live in uk so can I change my visa with in the uk.

any a :cry: :wink: dvice please

Hi ... What is the status of both your visas currenty? if your girl friend is on indefinte stay then yes you can marry her and then you can apply for a dependent visa...you will get the dependant for 2 yrs and then later u can apply for permanent residency...

Not if your girlfriend is French and here under EU regulations...5 years for PR at present...and you'll need to apply for a COA from the Home Office to marry.

she is here for study and have a french passport.I am here on PSW visa.so after COA from home office and after marry her which visa I will apply to change my status.she is in uk from 1 and half year.is it easy to change status here in the uk.
any advice please

After marriage, simply apply for an EU Residence Card as a family member of an EU citizen on Form EEA2, from within the UK! Here's the link to help you...
