Naturalization after 1 year ILR + 10 long residence

Post by iceman010899 » Fri May 22, 2009 7:13 pm

Hello,

I wil be applying for Naturalization soon based on ILR gained through long residence ( 10 years ). Does the NCS provide all the visas held since I came here or is it just the ones in the past 5 years to satisfy residence requirements. Thanks.

Not sure I quite understand the question. NCS don't have access to the UKBA computer susyem, but do ensure that the form is completed OK and the correct supporting documentation is supplied. They also ensure that you were physically in the UK exactly (in your case) 5 years before UKBA in Liverpool will receive the application.

Your passport that is supplied needs to cover your 5-year qualifying period, and if it does not you should also provide your previous passport.

Hello,

What I mean is, will the NCS copy all my visas since 1998 or just the visas that were valid in the last 5 years to satisfy the residence requirements.

And at re-entry in 2003 my passport was not stamped. Will this matter as this does not fall in the last 5 years. ILR was given anyway at the PEO.

Thanks.

They copy the whole passport
and if all your vignettes are not in the current passport, you must provide previous passports.

Hi,

Does a Accounts payable ledger count as a referee for naturalization ?

Does it fall under accountant ?

And can a retired professional act as a referee ? such as a Architect.

Thanks.
