Tier 1 Dependant - Accomodation Proof

Post by desired.value » Mon May 18, 2009 7:50 am

Hello

I am applying for Tier 1 Dependent from India. I have signed a Short Term Tenancy Agreement with the landlord/owner expiring on 23-JUN-2009. This is a one page document mentioning very basic details of both parties with a witness signature. Would that be acceptable as a valid form of evidence for accommodation proof.

Also, does this needs to be original or a xerox copy of it is accepted ?

Please advice.

Should be fine. mention in the covering letter of you application that the agreement is rolling and will renewed again after expiry.

Hi,
Ideally this should be original. If you can't send original, you may send scanned document to your spouse to get a print in India. VFS accepts scanned documents from the sponsor if sponsor is in U.K. But provide contact details of landord/letting agency in case BHC wants to clarify.
