Got 3yrs HSMP extension

Post by sagarjv » Sat Aug 20, 2005 12:11 am

All,
After waiting for almost 3 weeks I rcvd my originals with 3yrs visa endorsed yesterday.

Here are the datelines:
Application sent on: 29-Jul-05
Amount deducted from card: 01-Aug-05
Acknoledgement dated: 01-Aug-05
Ack rcvd: 06-Aug-05
Approval letter dated: 15-Aug-2005 (Independance day of my country, INDIA :D )
Approval & Originals rcvd: 19-Aug-2005

I was little worried as other members of forum rcvd their documents within 10 days.
Once again thanks for all the advices given by dear members.

Rgds,
Sagar

does your letter say you can apply for ILR or you need to apply for further extension?

Olisun,
Content as follows:
=========
If you wish to apply for a further extension of stay as a High Skilled Migrant, towards the end of your permitted stay, you should apply on form FLR(IED).

Alternatively, if you wish to apply for further leave to remain in another capacity, then you must do so on the appropriate application form.
========
Rgds,
Sagar

Do they allow urgent treatment for FLR applications? I can't submit my 3 years extension app before Sept 12, but need to apply for a Schengen visa on Sept 26 for a trip in October.

I got my FLR, HSMP 3 year extension on friday, I sent the application 9 calendar days before...during the summer...the service was excellent, the only delay was a request from HO to send new pictures as the one sent were not satisfactory (baby pics too old and wife pic was low quality paper)....
:D :lol:

Next year in september I will apply for the ILR.......... and then passport...
