Hoping for good news very soon from you.
That's a new info for me... wow!! atleast ppl who r waiting can co-relate their long waiting times if they are having some verifications due...

thanks flygirl...

As per our experience..

AFC - means waiting to be allocated to some caseworker to look into your application

UC - means a caseworker has been allocated and is looking into your application

UFC - means when a caseworker has something to be verified with ur employer or bank or educational institutes.. and they are waiting for reply...

hope this helps...

Just a small correction and addition to the post above by Ramesh,

AFC - means Awaiting further consideration, it probably means the case worker had a look at your case and your case is now awaiting consideration or review from some senior case worker.

I have applied for HSMP -> Tier1 Extension on 1st June, My current visa valid tilll Jan 2010. I have mentionned in the cover that "I have completed my current postion last month, due to economic downtown employers are reluctant to offer jos, reason is not enough long term visa, so i don't have any other option left other than applying for extenion". I hope this would not make any advert affect on my application. fingure crossed!!

I have sent 12 months payslip matching Bank statement for 12 months and 3 months for maintence funds including 3 depedents. For my wife application 'Marriage Certificate' and for kids their 'Birth Certificatge' i have attached.

Thanks

Goodluck guys

Applied on 19th Feb and still "Under Consideration" from last 2 1/2 months.

Last week made a complain and waiting for reason from HO for this delay. (will get in next 2-3 weeks).

I know mostly will get a reason as "Extended checks".

After that just wait...wait..wait..may take 10-12 months.(Getting ready for worst)

Sheikh..

i would say that is really a good positive news for you... wat i would dor or advise u to do once your application is UC is that every day i call the home office 3times 9-930am - 1-1.30pm n 3-30pm.. for atleast 1day to make sure the status is UC becos out of my exp.. i found that the systems in HO are not equally updated??? (how come pls dont ask me.. we found this during our feb mar.. as on the same day one applicant got the status as UC - UFC - UC - AFC... ha ha... but luckly in 3-4days he got approval..

so on monday just call 3times a day and if u get the same status that is correct... or confirmed...

But iam sure your case will be approved very soon.. may be in 4-5days..

goodluck

Ramesh,

Do you think that one of the reason behind getting different application status (UC AFC UFC) on same day could be because of getting responses from different call centre?

What I meant to say is that probably HO has got more than one call centres and status could be updated on one call centre's database and the other one(s) could still have the same old application status at the same time? :?

Thanks tvn_ramesh.

It's very straight forward case except lost passport.

Now final wait is to get response from HO on complain.

After that ..just wait.
