My daughter, who is South African, will shortly be applying for an Ancestral Visa. She is aged 24. I have ILR and am fully employed by a school I am her sponsor although she wont be living with me as my contract states my accommodation is for myself only. However, I have a friend who lives in the next village who has offered to put her up whilst she looks for a job. She is a British citizen. I have two questions regarding this. Will it be acceptable to the home office if my friend writes a letter stating my daughter will be living with her until she is established and what should the letter say. Or would it be better for her cousin to sponsor her in terms of accommodation. Her cousin, (my neice), is aged 28 and is herself a British citizen. Also, as my daughter is keen to join the British Army, would it be advisable or even possible to ask the recruitment office to send a letter inviting her for an interview.
