Working time is not continuos.......Help

Post by greets » Wed Jun 03, 2009 2:24 pm

Hi all,

I am fully eligible for applying for tier one, but I have a question"

I have enough income to claim points for PREVIOUS EARNINGS. But I didn't work for 1 month in the last 12 months.
Like I was jobless in Dec, 2008(full month), but from june 2008 to may 2008 I have earned the needed amount,

Is my case fine.

Do I need to have continuous work experience without break???????

Thanx in advance

You can claim for any consecutive 12 months in last 15 months. If you can still get enough points then you are fine.

If you have this december break in the somewhere middle of the 15 months then you can use 12 months consecutive but can use salary of only 11 months( rest one month is then december in which you didn't earned). Remember you cannot pick and choose "any" months.

Hi Greets,

Your case is absoulutely fine with no hurdles, but keep in mind to clearly mention it in the covering letter to avoid confusion.

Wish U the Best,
Ash.
