Duplicate Pay-slip

Post by Final » Thu Jun 04, 2009 7:22 pm

Hi all,

I have lost one of my payslips and was thinking of getting a duplicate from HR. Does anyone have experience of using originals and one or two duplicates because the originals are missing? Is there any paragraph in the guidance form covering this?

Thanks,

Final.

As long as it is from the source and looks official you are fine.
If HR is printing you online payslip make sure it is stamped and signed.

When I first came to this country never thought I would need my payslips. So never kept them. So I had no choice but to get the duplicate from HR. The duplicate looked nothing like the original, but it was stamped and signed. I sent it 12 months of duplicates and I got approved.

HI,
I have a similar problem.Have lost one of the payslips and have got a duplicate from HR,looks totally different but is not online version.I have got it certified with the stamp and signature as well.Hope it's going to be OK and explained this in my cover letter as well.
Because there is no way I will be able to submit original at a later date so nothing more could be done.

fingers cross for 2---3---or more months.

Yes. As far as it is signed and stamped by your company it is fine.

Thanks Yasa and Chetanojha,

similar problem with bank staement missing. The lady in the bank printed me a duplicate statement,no bank logo and refused to stamp or get it signed.
She said I could request for the original ? but will take 3-5 working days.

Should I wait or sent what I have in my application?

Please suggest.

Its is surprising that Bank customer service at branch is not ready to stamp the statement. Try walking into another branch and see if you can get it stamp.
Alternatively, if you can wait...get originals....nothing beat it.
