Family visitor visa decision timelines/delayed

Hi All,
My parents had applied family visitor visa from India, Delhi VFS on 25th May and its status is still the same "Its been sent to BHC".

It looks like its talking more time than usual(4-5 working days) and today its 14 working days, thats worring me.

Can anyone suggest where can we enquire to find out whats happening and whats causing these delays?
Is this timeline normal?
Has someone else submitted the Visitor visa recently who can share the timelines?


Here are the documents I sent from UK:
Cover/sponsor letter
6 months bank statements
salary slips
employer letter
copy of offer letter
copy of P60
house agreement copy
council bills copy
utility bills
passport/visa copies
approval letter copy


Here are the documents my parents submitted:
Cover letter
white background photo (size 45mmX35 mm)
property docs copy
Car Docs
Dads 2 bank's statements(one month each)
and mom's 1 month bank statement
Fixed deposite certificate copy
Cover letter talks about all my relatives and strong ties to Hometown

My mother applied for visit visa on 08th -april-2008 but still have not heard anything from Gerry's office,website is showing application forwarded typical message..

i tried calling gerry's office but the lines are engage especially 0992512098999 number always beeping.

My mother manage to call on 10th may but they said wait more..
now its almost 2months and 10 day's what option we have?

she already visted uk twice..
any comments/help should i call abudhabi office?
