Is it important that the case is presented as Employed or Self Employed? Do we need to declare that the limited company was owned by me if the case is presented as employed?

If you are self-employed, you do not have the flexibility that someone has with pocket ltd company - can go any route, you should declare yourself self-employed.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/briti ... documents/

I think UKBA is quite specific on what you would need to present:

Documents required for applications from self-employed people

If you do not pay tax through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) arrangements, you should provide:

* the most recent HM Revenue and Customs self assessment statement of account.
Good luck !

as sole trader , any other documents do i need for PR apart from the below:

12 months business account statement (only has 5 to 8 transactions each month at the amount of 400 pounds to 1000 pounds paid in because most are cash on hand,do u think it is okay?)

3 months personel bank statement

two years tax return(self assessment) submit online, can only provide copy, but recent year tax return has about 300pounds tax paid
