I am working in UK on Tier 2 (Intercompany transfer) visa, & looking forward to visit Europe for vacation. Is it possible for me to go to Europe on same visa?

No, you might need a Schengen visa. Do a search on google to see if your passport needs a visa for the Schengen area (a group of European countries).

I think before Switzerland allowed holders of UK visa to visit them without getting a Swiss visa, but I also heard recently that that rule has changed, so best to check it out.
