You can apply 28 days in advance of expiry of your current leave when you apply for ILR. When it comes to the first extension you can request HO to give you additional leave so that you do not have to reapply. Some of the members on the board have done it successfully while similar requests by others were turned down. I guess HO would not be so harsh to force you to reapply (cant substantiate that though)salonbalm wrote:Hi Push..

This looks like that the visa start date counts towards ILR and not the date you entere UK??
