CAN I APPLY FOR EEA2 WHILE WIFE IS SELF EMPLOYED

HELLO EVERY ONE,

My wife is French and, we got married yesterday.I am going to apply for Eea2 soon.I have got 2 questions.

My wife is self employed,she is working as a computer programmer.

Is this is fine?

or she should be employee some where?

Also my PSW visa refused by the home office before a week.I am going through appeal progress at the moment.

Can I still apply for my Eea2 in country from the uk.Even I am in appeal for my PSW visa.

what,s are my options.
I will be very thankful for any replies.

Congratulations on getting married! I hope you are both very happy together!

As you are the spouse of an EU citizen who is working in the UK, you can apply for EEA2. It does not matter whether she is working for a big company or is self employed.

If you apply for EEA2, it may be that your PSW application and appeal cancelled. I am not sure.

Note also that you do not need to send you wife's or your passpor with you application. You can send a photocopy and attach a note saying you will send the passports when the Residence Card is ready to issue.

Being self employed is fine.
You can go ahead and apply for the EEA2. Hopefully UKBA won't see it as a convenient marriage so soon after your PSW visa was refused.
