Transferring Visa to the new passport

Post by Jk2007 » Thu Jun 18, 2009 4:47 pm

The existing Indian passport for my child has been issued only for 5 years, and this has the UK dependendent visa on it. My child will be issued a new passport soon. Is it necessary to transfer the visa to the new passport? How can I do this?

You can by post, but it is quicker and easier just to carry it and the new passport together.

Though you have to remember that you will have to pay to transfer your visa to your new passport. If you don't mind carrying two passport when travellling than I think it's best to just don't bother transfre and pay more money, use that money to treat ur children!!!
