I don't think you need to worry about that, since already baby cleared entry clearenace that may not be a compulsory document, but sending one more document is make out point clear. You can't send additional documents now. Don't worry buddy your application will get through if you sent other documents properly.

Thank you.
Pelsdanny wrote:Is this part of the requirement in the guidance as it was only maintenance requirement for dependants that was highlighted. We were previously on HSMP and my child's visa reference on his passport is linked to mine.

Can i send additional evidence whilst my application is with them. i am yet to receive a reference letter.

Application from UK

Post by sams1enigma » Sat Jun 20, 2009 1:31 pm

Hi Guys,

Switching from WP to tier 1 General.

Work permit expiry (Oct 2012)and my new Tier 1 General expiry stamped till (June 2012).

Sent only 12 months payslip and 12 month Bank statement, P60 and degree certificate plus a fees £820

Time line
Sent application on 3rd June
Money deducted on 4th June
Letter dated on 4th June
Visa Stamped on 16th June
Document recevied on 18th June

Good processing time, i reckon posting it is better if you have a straight forward application instead of waiting for a six week ahead appointment schedule in the PEO based on a lottery system every morning for five minutes.

Good luck and cheerios guys..

Hello Sheikh..

I am very sorry that u are also held up becos HO inefficency n inability to let the applicants informed about the actual reasons why it is taking soo long..

but i am just confused why ur case has moved from UC to AFC instead of UC to UFC?? but wat ever is the status.. we need to wait..

Only positive thing i can tell u is if you are sure u submitted all the docs requested by HO as per guidance.. only one outcome will be there that is a POSITIVE APPROVAL.. keep faith n hold ur nerves

Goodluck

Hi Ramesh,

Thanks for your input!

I'm pretty sure I've submitted the documents as per guideline.

just to clarify my case had been moved from UC(initially) to AFC(stuck here for quite a some time) and now it has been moved from AFC to again UC after requesting the UT.

Ok Sheikh..

i think i missed ur last sentence earlier.. so when did u get ur status as UC?? if it is very very recent with 1-2back... than i am very hopeful.. u will get the outcome soon.. (not raising ur hopes without any evidence..) but just based on the way how the applications have been decided once they come into UC zone.. this is just my experience.. Hope it will be the same to u this time.. goodluck

Miki...

CONGRATULATIONS... good on you for holding your nerves...

your post is a great relief to many people who are waiting since long time as it has been recently frequently found that HO is misplacing docs or losing them or delaying them even after the approvals are done..

just the case like Your's... sheikh or kamran and others waiting silently...

as the saying goes..

"Bhagvan key ghar mein derh hai andher nahin"...

Thanks tvn_ramesh.

Everybody whoever is waiting for more than 14 weeks :

We couldn't do much other than waiting.

But make sure you make complaint after 14 weeks and involve local MP after you get reply for your complaint after 20 days.

Can't say anything what exactly worked for me. ( May be complaint / local MP involvement / just destiny  ).

All the best.

Miki.. that's a good advice to the people waiting since long time.. we need to give a try in all possible ways..

Dealing with HO is real mystery.. as they state on their website.. "Providing world class service" - world class only in charging high fees...

Miki,

Worth mentioning how did you engage with local MP? What was the process?

To engage local MP, I have googled local mp using area name and luckily found local mp's web site.

Sent an email to MP with all details and attached scanned copies of all communications with HO (Home office). (1st Ref. letter, Complaint ref. letter and Reply letter from HO about complaint).

Luckily MP took action on the same day and I have received letter in 2 days from MP office that they already sent request letter to HO.

All the best.

As you mentioned... its too early to get a response.. i think u need to wait till 1st week for Aug to get a status on ur application from HO but you will be getting a reference letter from HO anytime in this week..

Ramesh,

Thanks for the response mate.

What I was looking for was to get an understanding of the timelines.

By default, consider 6 weeks after your application is received by HO. If you get result before it is bonus. But better not to get your hopes high.

In a straight forward case the ideal timelines we experienced is below:

1. Once you send you application (DOA)
2. Shd receive Reference letter between 1-2weeks from DOA
3. Your application will move into Awaiting Consideration in 5-6weeks from DOA
4. move into Under Consideration in 6-7 weeks of ur DOA
5. Shd receive ur Approval news in 7th or 8th week from ur DOA...

but with HO anything is possible.. so wait for the surprises..

Keep watching this space for others application progress to understand ur application status..

Surprising.. there are no updates on applications off-late..

Anybody from March-April-early May waiting for their results??

Goodluck on your applications guys.. cheers
