Alternatives to Full Job Description on Reference Letters

Post by HSMP_Sonu » Mon Sep 12, 2005 11:30 am

Hi All,

It is very difficult for me to get reference letters that indicate full job descriptions from my previous employers at this stage. I have about 11 years of experience and few of my employers will not even recognize me now.

Is there any alternative to this ?

I think the government body dealing with HSMP should know that it is not the normal practice even in UK to give full job descriptions on reference letters. So how are people managing it ? This HSMP programme a bit too stringent on norms.

If I want to claim 10 years of graduate level work and 5 years specialist, it comes out to seeking all ex-employers letters.

How is that practically possible ? I am curious how are people managing it. And Do the HSMP teams actually need it for all cases or only for which they have doubts ?

I think Moderators can help me with this:

Does HSMP Team accept emails from company id's as proof of Job Descriptions ? In this case, some of the ex-seniors of the company may obilige.
