Thanks for your reply. The guide and the form says that either you have lived here for 5 years or are a spouse of a citizen and lived here for 3 years. So this implies my wife needs to wait either for 2011 or for me to be granted british citizenship. Am I missing something?llNicell wrote:You all three can apply for naturalisation /Citizenship at the same time in June 2010. You & your wife need to fill form "AN" seperately and "MN1" form for your daughter. I would suggest you to apply through NCS
You got it right mate. Once you are granted citizenship then your wife will be able to apply as spouse of BC and she will be assessed on 3years insteadrob.mehta wrote:Thanks for your reply. If your wife has ILR, you don't need to do anything. You apply for naturalization first and once that is approved apply for your wife with a three year residency period.

As stated before, you and your wife cannot apply for naturalization at the same time. You can either wait till 2011 when she has five year residency to apply together or apply yourself first and once naturalized apply immediately for your wife as she has met three year residency criteria.
