hello,

i have applied for new student visa extension on 15 Aug '08 [FLR(S) 04/2008 ]and application was send back saying invalid on October mid.and i was asked to fill the columns which i have missed.

after filling all i resend it and on 12 th of december the form was send again back to be saying invalid.this time they saying i havent made the right form to make the application.and was asked to fill out the FLR(S) 08/2008 version.

but the time i applied only 04/2008 was the rite application.

now i have send it back and waiting for a visa.

the bad side is that my course is only upto june 2009.

now because of this i am not able to meet my old parents back home.

what you people think am i getting fair service or i dont deserve to be in uk ?

HAd my biometric done on 25 Feb and waited two weeks for biometric card.

they replied asking for my sponsor documents and my bank statements.

had sent all needed 7 weeks back.

Called HomeOffice contact number and they say still processing so cant say anything now about the progress.

Usually they keep on saying we cant say anything before 6 weeks but why they still saying the same after 7 weeks ?

it is now a year passed and i want to enroll a new course ?

is that this difficult to process a visa application ?

It is a very long process unfortuately, my student visa extension took close to 8 weeks to get processed I believe.

It is unfair the time and the hassle the UKBA makes us go through, but one has to bear in mind that this is their country and we are "guests" in the UK, and because they have so much demand from overseas students they have adopted a "bear with it or don't apply" stance.
